Ingredients (Get the full quantities in the recipe card at the bottom)

  • fresh peaches- if we have a u-pick orchard, we like locally picked peaches for our peach popsicle recipe. But, that's not always available to all, so any peaches will work, even frozen peaches.
  • honey- we prefer to use local honey so we can get all the good immune boosting effects of enjoying local honey
  • vanilla yogurt- for our dairy free popsicles we used a dairy free vanilla yogurt. But you can use whatever you're used to enjoying. If you can have it, Greek yogurt, or regular yogurt would work as well.

Make sure to have your popsicle mold and measuring cups on hand before you make your frozen yogurt treats.

Storage

Once we have removed them from the mold, if we aren't enjoying them immediately, we like to wrap each ice pop with beeswax wrap (or plastic wrap if you use that) and place in a freezer safe container or freezer bag for up to 3-4 months.

Recipe Tips

  • It can be difficult to get honey out of a measuring cup or measuring spoon. To make this easier, we like to spray the measuring device with just a spritz of olive oil to help it leave the measuring cup or spoon easier.
  • If you don't have a blender, use a food processor. It may take a few batches, but you can still make your own homemade pops.
  • If you're like us and are gluten free and dairy free, always check your dairy free yogurt choice to ensure that it is safe for celiacs or at least gluten free if that's what you need.
  • Don't worry if your mixture seems too runny, it should still freeze well, it may just ned a bit longer.
  • If you don't have any silicone molds or other popsicle molds, you could use small paper cups if you're really in a pinch.

Variations for Easy Peach Popsicles

  • The options you can make here are endless. Sometimes we like to add orange juice and some vanilla extract to the mix for a slightly different flavor. You could use any fruit juice desired and you could change the peaches out for other ripe fruit.
  • We have also added lemon juice and some lemon zest to bring another citrus flavor to the flavor table.
  • For the dairy-free yogurt part, you could mix some almond milk or full-fat coconut milk in with it to bring out some more creamy dairy free flavor without having to sacrifice the creamy texture.
  • Don't want to use honey? Try using pure maple syrup instead. If you don't mind added sugar, you could add a small amount of white sugar to the peach puree.
